Dietrich-Eisler’s work is inspired by the beauty of the natural world. There is divine beauty, infinitely inspiring, in wild places where endless varieties of life grow and seem to vibrate with light.  These places can be discovered even in the weeds of forgotten city lots. Julie Dietrich-Eisler has been teaching art for twenty years in Baltimore County.
She earned her degree in painting at the Maryland Institute of Art and is currently working on her PhD in education from Notre Dame University.
