In this experiential class, you will learn the basics of how to safely use 12 essential oils and how to create and use an aromatherapy massage oil blend in your practice. Topics include: a brief history of aromatherapy, where essential oils come from, how essential oils are absorbed into the body, carrier oils, cautions and contraindications, blending principles and safety. Participants will experience the scents of over 12 essential oils and will have the opportunity to create an aromatherapy massage oil blend and use it in class. The remainder of the blend will be taken home with them. 7 CEU’s available for massage therapist.

Please bring a massage table, a set of sheets and wear comfortable clothes. A $10.00 supply fee is due the day of the class.
