Mandala Painting Workshop (Day 1)

No experience is necessary, only a willingness to discover and tap into your own inner artist and enjoy the unfolding of this creative process, we are all students when it comes to the art of the soul. This two day workshop will take place in an intimate relaxed setting with everything you need to create your individual work of art.

Mandala Painting is an ancient reflective practice and has been likened to the visual equivalent of music. The word Mandala means sacred circle and is derived from the word ‘mandra’ which means container of essence. It is a cosmic diagram in the form of sacred geometry reminding us of our relationship to the infinite. It serves as a tool for spiritual journey as well as enhancing focus and creativity, relaxing the mind and body, and cultivating a feeling of inner peace and well being.

In this workshop you will be given the tools and foundation for mandala painting to take home with you as you continue to explore your own practice. All materials/tools included (20” x 20”canvas, paint, embellishments, etc.) Templates will be provided to work from. Basic tips on color theory, and finishing techniques will also be introduced and demonstrated.

*Class size is limited to 8 to ensure everyone gets the hands on attention they need.
