đź”® Psychic Abilities: Gift, Heresy, or Something More?
When Mysticism Was Seen as Heresy

Join Steven East and Christina Celebi for the first installment of Mystic Mondays—blending Steven’s background in Religious Studies with Christina’s education in clinical psychology to explore the deeper layers of mysticism, belief, and human experience.

Throughout history, those with intuitive or psychic gifts have been called many things—mystics, prophets, healers… and at times, heretics.

Why were some revered, while others were feared or silenced?
Who decides what is sacred… and what is forbidden?

Together, we’ll explore how mystical experiences have been interpreted across cultures, and how the line between “divine” and “dangerous” has shifted over time.

We’ll also break down the different forms of intuitive perception—often called the “claires”—including clairvoyance (seeing), clairsentience (feeling), claircognizance (knowing), clairaudience (hearing), and more—offering insight into how these abilities are experienced and understood.

This is not about belief—it’s about understanding.
Not about being told what’s true—but exploring why we think the way we do.

Come curious.
Leave with a deeper perspective on the unseen, the misunderstood, and the deeply human experience of intuition.
