Getting Back on Track: Overcoming Obstacles to Happiness

Karen Shavin, M.Ed., State of MD LMT, GCFP/Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, Certified 500 hour Viniyoga teacher

Six week series, 90 minutes each class, Mondays 10:00-11:30a, October 8- November 12

Do you experience physical or mental pain, depression, agitation or anxiety, or disturbed breathing? These are good indications of more subtle obstacles in your life. By recognizing the outer signs, it is easier to take corrective action and get back on track. Over a six week period we will explore the nine inner obstacles and sample practices for getting back on track.

NOTE: Yoga is a personal, daily practice. It is most effective when the practice is customized to your personal needs and modified, over time, as needs change. The practices offered in this workshop are examples of how yoga practice can address specific needs. They may or may not meet your personal needs. At the completion of the class you have the option of scheduling a personal session to develop your personal practice, based on where you feel most ‘stuck’ and would like to begin your personal transformation. There is an additional fee for the private session.

Please contact Karen at if you are interested in scheduling a session.
